Fees and Funding

2 year olds

We accept:

30 Hours Working Parent Entitlement Funding
15 Hours Funding for Supported 2 year olds

Either type of funding can be used to cover our 3 hour 2 year old sessions which run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8.45am until 11.45am.

3 & 4 Year olds (Children in their Preschool year)

We accept:

Universal 15 hours Funding for all 3 & 4 Year olds
30 Hours Working Parent Entitlement Funding

Both types of funding can be used to cover up to 15 or 30 hours of childcare. Our sessions are Monday – Friday 8.45am - 3pm. A full week at Playgroup is 31.25 hours. Parents have the option to pick up at 2.45pm if they only wish to use their 30 funded hours. Children in receipt of 30 hours funding who attend full-time will be invoiced for the additional hours.

We also offer afternoon Preschool sessions for 3 - 4 year olds from 11.45am - 3pm. If parents only wish to use their 15 funded hours, we can adjust pick-up times to suit individual needs.

Non - funded hours

All attended hours which are not covered by any type of funding are charged at £6.50 per hour. Invoices are issued by email at the start of each term for payment within 14 days. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, BACS or via Tax Free Childcare.

Chargeable Extras

We make a voluntary charge of 50p per session which covers a healthy snack. If you would prefer to provide your own snack, please speak to the manager. Invoices are sent termly.

Eligibility Codes

It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure their codes are renewed in accordance with the Government Guidelines. If a code is found to be invalid and Hucclecote Playgroup does not receive funding, fees will become payable and invoiced as stated above.
